A couple comments here as well.
1. Don’t just drive traffic to the offer page. Its important to build out targeted landing pages that pre-qualify the lead that then send them to the offer. Not only will this help drive conversions this will help you pass editorial scrutiny (Disclaimer 3: I worked in Yahoo Editorial a long time, hit me up if you want some tips)
2. Since we are talking about free traffic, don’t go out and spend your earnings. Reinvest this into your campaigns. I know its painful to make $1,000 and not go blow it at the bar but trust me its better served to raise your ROI.
3. Focus on niche keywords with lower bids. We are not talking about $545,000 worth of free traffic so get the maximum traffic you can to you can better optimize. (Hint: lower bidded keywords tend to pass editorial much quicker if not automatically)
4. I am not sure when these codes will expire but I have personally used the 125 credit so I know that’s good to go. I can say that they will certainly expire once Microsoft owns the whole show so use while they’re hot!
